4. St Paul - Popular, pastoral, patient? A talk given by Robbie Low at the Catholic church of St Mary Immaculate, Falmouth, in June 2009. Introduction by Fr Jonathan Bielawski.
5. St Paul and the Cross of Christ. A talk given by Fr Guy de Gaynesford on the centrality of the Cross in the preaching and teaching of the Apostle given at the Catholic church of St Mary Immaculate, Falmouth in June 2009.
6. St Paul - Teacher of the World. 8 sessions on the life and teaching of St Paul the Apostle by Fr Guy de Gaynesford and Robbie Low given at the Catholic Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Newquay, in September 2008, at the invitation of Fr Mark O'Keeffe, parish priest.
7. The Four Last Things. 4 sessions on the traditional Catholic understanding of "The Four Last Things" - Death, Judgement, Hell and Heaven. Given as a retreat at Fowey by Robbie Low in November 2009.
8. The Journey Home. A talk by Robbie Low on his own journey home to the Catholic Church, given at the St Mary Immaculate, Falmouth, in September 2009.
Some background on the contributors to our Catholic teaching courses, retreats and talks.
Canon Keith Mitchell studied for the priesthood at St John's seminary, Wonersh, and was ordained in 1996 for the Diocese of Plymouth. He has been parish priest of St Paul and Our Most Holy Redeemer, Plymouth, St Peter and St Thomas More, Crownhill, and Chaplain to the secondary schools of St Boniface and Notre Dame. He is member of the Chapter of Canons of Plymouth Cathedral. Since July 2009, he has served the parish of St Mary & St Petroc, Bodmin.
Fr Guy de Gaynesford was educated at Ampleforth and Merton College, Oxford where he studied History. He trained for the priesthood at St John's Seminary, Wonersh, and was ordained in 1996 for Plymouth diocese. He was parish priest of St Mary & St Petroc, Bodmin, from 2000 - 2009, and Brixham and Dartmouth from 2009-2010.
Robbie Low read History at Pembroke College, Cambridge, and Theology at Westcott House. Ordained in the Anglican Church 1979, he served for 25 years in parish ministry. In 2004 he and his wife, Sara, were received into the Catholic Church. They run Fowey Retreat as a teaching centre and Robbie serves as a catechist at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bodmin.
