The Pastoral Council consists of 12 members who meet three times a year to discuss parish matters, liaise with parishioners, and to put forward any suggestions that arise to the parish priest.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. There is a full RCIA programme run by Fr Keith and two catechists for those who have asked to be received into full communion with the Catholic Church. See more about this by scrolling towards the bottom of the Sacraments Page of this website.
Teaching Courses. In recent months we have looked at the subjects of Priesthood, the Easter Triduum and the New Translation of the English Missal. Go to the Teaching Courses page of this website to listen to these talks.
Music. The choir who sing in Bodmin meet at 7pm on Thursdays in the Church. We use a variety of Mass settings and there is a focus on Latin in Lent and Advent. The Parish Centre Committee meet every 3 months to discuss the running and the upkeep of the parish centre.

Catholic Women’s League Bodmin Branch has now retired.
Society St Vincent de Paul. Bodmin Branch meet at the Parish Centre on the first Tuesday of each month at 2pm. The group comprises about 8 members, and our main purpose is to bring God’s love to the lonely, suffering and deprived. We have a twin SVP conference in India with whom we correspond and support. The Legion of Mary. There are four Praesidia in Cornwall. Their work includes visiting the sick and the lonely in hospital or in their homes, and visiting in the parish those who have not experienced the love of God. CAFOD. This parish raises money for CAFOD in several different ways. There are frugal lunches held in Padstow each month, to which all are welcome. Please see the newsletter for details. SPUC, Society for the Protection of Unborn Children. SPUC is a Pro-life organisation defending human life from conception to natural death. The Bodmin branch was established in 1984. We are involved in many activities, for example education, lobbying parliamentarians, prayer witness, annual Human Chain vigil. Silent vigil outside Bodmin and Truro hospitals most Saturdays.
